Dave Revere first discovered his wonder vision at the age of nine.  One midnight, he sneaked out of bed to look at the stars from his backyard.  They seemed larger and louder than usual in the midst of the terrestrial silence that surrounded him.  He held their gaze until "shwhoosh!" his eyes zoomed in like the Hubble Space Telescope, revealing the rainbow nebulas, populated planets, and shiny starships that fill the outer spaces.

In fifth grade, he wrote his first book - An American Legend.  This epic account of the quill that wrote the Declaration of Independence won a prestigious "ribbon for participation" at the Hill County Fair in Havre, Montana.

Dave fell in love with Holly Lawson the moment he met her at 12 years of age.  In a letter that was never sent, he described her as "glowing" and "the girl I want to marry."  Painfully, shyness crippled any hope of expressing his feelings to her.

Soon after his 18th birthday, Dave moved to San Dimas, California and began ministry training at LIFE Bible College.  After three years of evangelical education, he decided to join the Marine Corps.  He wrote in his journal, "I'm hungry for life experience outside the church culture of my upbringing."

Not only did he get his wish, but during his four years as a "devil dog," he completed a bachelors degree in communications and became a well-traveled military journalist.

Dave acquired Holly's contact info through a Google search while stationed in Japan.  A short but potent email stated, "I want to know you again," after more than ten years of no contact.

Her response was life-changing.  "I've smiled often this week remembering you've written me after so many years!"  Two years later, they were married back in Montana, the land where their love was born.

Dave writes children's stories in Bozeman, Montana.  He is working towards a masters degree in Children's Literature and his life-long dream of becoming a successful children's author.

Tonight, by the light of the Milky Way, through the otherworld of Holly's beauty, in the beam of the Starmaker's gaze, he continues to hone his wonder vision.
